You Hold Me Up
Susanna Martinez

Good morning boys and girls Happy Sabbath again. I hope you are enjoying your summer. Now I have a book for you this morning and it’s called, you hold me up. And I want you to think about this. Because we are celebrating today and tomorrow a very important man in our lives, right? It’s going to be Father’s Day. I want you to listen to my story. And think about Daddy in your mind. Okay, let’s get started.

It says, you hold me up when you are kind to me. When you share with me when you learn with me, you hold me up when you play with me. When you laugh with me, when you sing with me, you hold me up when you comfort me. When you listen to me when you respect me you hold me up. I hold you up we hold each other up.

Now I thought this story would be a great story, thinking of all the things Daddy does for us. I know Daddy loves us, respects us, and always does things to hold us up. Now in our Bibles, boys and girls in Psalms 103 Verse 13, it says, as a father has compassion on his children. So the Lord has compassion and those who fear him. Now I invite your boys and girls to always be good listeners and help hold your daddy up like he hold you up. But also invite Jesus to be part of your family. Because with Jesus in our family, we’re all going to be holding each other up like this family.

Okay, now let’s bow our heads for prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you dear Lord once again for another Sabbath. Thank you for the opportunity you’ve given us to have our daddies with us. Bless them, do your Lord help them to be great leaders. So that one day we can become just like them. keep us safe and always protect us. Be with us for we pray in Jesus name, amen.

Bye boys and girls.
