What’s Inside?
by Alex Aumack

Good morning happy Sabbath.

I’m feeling a little bit hungry today so I hope you don’t mind that I get something to eat. So that’s something good right here. I think you all know what this is right? It’s pretty self-explanatory. It says right there on the box.

Oh, wait, I was pretty sure this was gonna be cereal. I mean it certainly sounded like cereal and it says cereal on the box. But that’s clearly not cereal.

Well, good thing I have a backup. So let’s try our backup. This looks like cereal, right? Well, that sounds like cereal. We have cereal this time. Nice!

Sometimes things really aren’t that as they appear to be. And we can’t be sure to trust our eyes and ears for what they are truly seeing, seeing or hearing. There is one thing we can always be sure of. And that is God’s love for each one of us. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:1 that faith is to be sure of the things that we have not seen. God is as sure as a box of breakfast cereal, always having cereal in it. We all have faith in God. You can trust him and believe that he will always take care of you.

Let us bow our heads for prayer. Dear Jesus, we want to have faith in you. Teach us to believe in you and trust in you always. Thank you for loving us. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Thank you
