Restored
by Ethan Morales

Good morning boys and girls Happy Sabbath. I hope you guys are having a fantastic start to your Sabbath. Let’s just jump straight into our children’s story.

Today, we’re going to be taking a look at First Peter chapter five, verse 10, where it says, in his kindness, God called you to share in His eternal glory by means of Jesus Christ. So after you have suffered, He will restore, support and strengthen you. And he will place you on a firm foundation.

Now for our children’s story tables and girls, we’re going to take a napkin like this very standard napkins that you see, you know, when you wipe your hand and all that, well, sometimes boys and girls when we follow Christ, bad things are gonna happen to us now whether those things are because of something we did something we didn’t do. It varies, but unfortunately, since we do live in this world, we are going to suffer from dropping little with us. Hopefully, it’s not too bad, right? And then we’re, we’re left into little pieces. What God tells us to do is, when we’re broken, we have no more hope. We go to him. And we simply pray a little prayer like this. Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, I’m broken. I have all these pieces, but I do not know what to do with them, Lord, so come into my life, Lord, may You put these pieces together after the honor and glory of you.

And with that, He will give you a new napkin, essentially, one that is fully restored in him, so that you may go out and share his goodness with everyone, my boys and girls. So remember that.

Let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, thank you God for another day of life, Lord, as we continue to go about our week and our weekend, Lord, me You guide and protect us. May we have a safe rest of the day. Please forgive us of our sins. And I ask that you please be with the parents and mentors of these children. We ask all these things they in Jesus Christ, amen.

Bye boys and girls. We’ll see you next time here on Ethan’s storytelling corner.
