Only One You
by Susanna Martinez

Good morning, boys and girls. It’s my opportunity once again to bring you the story this morning. Now, I know we only have a few more days of school left. Are you excited? Now that made me find, look for this book, Only One You. Let’s see what we have in here. What you to think about this? Because Jesus made us very unique. There is only one of you in the whole world.

It says “it’s time, Papa said. I think it is mama greed. Time for what? Audrey asked. Papa’s voice soften to share some wisdom.”

“Always be on the lookout. For a new friend.” Jesus will always send you a new friend boys and girls. Be ready.

“Look for beauty wherever you are, and keep the memory of it with you.” So always remember to look at all the beautiful. I don’t know if you ever noticed all the clouds in the sky. Sometimes we could even see some animals up there.

“Blend in when you need to, but stand out when you have the chance.” And most importantly, boys and girls, share who Jesus is with your friends.

“Find your own way. And you don’t have to follow the crowd.” This must be very hard at times. But you know what? We should always follow what Jesus asked us to do.

“Know when to speak. Know when to listen.” This is very important for little kids. And for some of us grownups to

“No matter how you look at it. There is so much to discover.”

“If you make a wrong turn, circle back.” We will all make mistakes boys and girls, but it’s important to realize it and make a better choice.

“If something gets in your way, move around it.” Sometimes it’s easier for us to go a different way. ‘

“Set aside some quiet time to relax and reflect every day.” This reminds me of prayer. I always like to take time off and pray.

“Appreciate art. It’s all around you.” Jesus created a beautiful earth for us to live in. Once you look outside, look at the beautiful smooth the stars. The sunsets are my favorite thing to look at.

“Make wishes on the stars in the nighttime sky.”

“Thank you for listening, mama said. We hope you will remember Papa winked and whispered you know, this is a lot for you to think about. Audrey did a backwards somersault and smiled. He was excited to go out into the world with what he had just learned. Wait for me. He shouted to his friends.”

“Before he swam away, he turned back to his parents and said, I will remember. Mama kissed Audrey on the top of his head. There’s only one you in this great world. She said.”

Now boys and girls. There’s only one of you. Please remember the advice this book gave us and most importantly, remember what Jesus wants us to do.

Let’s bow our heads. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you dear Lord for another Sabbath. We thank you for this opportunity you’ve given us to once again remember that we are unique. You created us uniquely do Lord help us to always stand out and most importantly always share who you are thank you once again we pray in Your name amen.

Bye boys and girls.
