God’s Protection
by Sara Rivas and Zeke
Hello boys and girls. It’s my turn to record the kids story with my mom, Sara. Hi. Alright, so you’re gonna share Moses and the Red Sea. Yeah. Alright, go for it. I think you’re gonna start us off at the burning bush. Yeah.
Alright, so we see the burning bush. And Moses, here’s a word coming from it. It’s God and he says, Moses. Moses. Moses knows it’s God. This is yes, Lord. What would you like me to do for you. And God says, Ket my people free and Moses says no, I can’t speak good. And then God tells him Moses three times and he finally convinces him him to do it with his brother Aaron. So he’s on the way to Egypt. He meets his brother over there and so they keep walking. They talk to Pharaoh. And Pharaoh says, no. Of course. A plague comes. Twelve plague comes. Ten. Ten of them. Ten plagues. Plagues come. And then finally he says. Yes. So, Moses takes the Israelites to a different land.
So they’re going to a different land. They’re at the Red Sea. So God says. put start set up your camp here and pharaoh will come after you guys. So he said to Moses so all of a sudden pharaoh changes his mind and like he had done plenty of times before and tried to find them. He finds them along the Red Sea, and the Israelites go crazy. And then they all say to Moses, why did you bring us here? And Moses asks God for help, asks God for help, and says, and God says, raise your staff over the sea.
So he raises his staff over the sea and there’s two walls of water on each side. And the Israelites were able to walk in dry land. So almost half way through, God threw a big cloud on the Egyptian soldiers and they couldn’t see. And one soldier said, Let’s get out of here. And the soldier said, The God of Israel is fighting against Egypt. They all tried to run out. Once Moses and all the Israelites were on the other side, Moses raised his staff over the sea again, and the water came rushing back.
And I like this story because I want to tell you thought it might remind you of how powerful God is.
We do we do serve a very powerful God and that is a great story. Thank you for sharing with us. All right, let’s go ahead and say a word of prayer.
Dear Jesus, we thank you so much, because you love us and you’re so awesome and powerful. And we’re so grateful that we’re your children and that you’re always looking out for us and you’re always looking to protect us. We ask you Lord Jesus to be with us always and never leave our side. Please be with all the moms and dads and give them lots of patience for their children and that and help us to raise our children in the ways of you Lord Jesus. We thank you for everything that you give us and always provide for us. In your sweet name we pray. Amen.
Bye, boys and girls. Bye.
