Faith and a Cereal Box
Good morning boys and girls, I have a very important question for you all. Are you a breakfast person? Or do you prefer lunch or dinner as your favorite meal of the day? Personally for me, I’ve always loved breakfast. I love eggs. I love hot oatmeal. You also have pancakes and you also have french toast. But one of the favorite meals that you could enjoy in the morning, or even for dessert at night is cold cereal, in fact, frosted Mini Wheats, one of my favorites, but when you combine it with Honey Bunches of Oats, specifically with almonds, amazing. Yes, honey nut cheerios, Raisin Bran solid, for sure. Always good to go. But this is something that my dad taught me when I was a kid. So you got to take the box of frosted mini wheats, you got to shake it a little to hear the frosted Mini Wheats. You got to open it up and then you provide the base foundation….
What in the world?!?! That’s not frosted Mini Wheats. But the box says frosted Mini Wheats, in fact it says cereal right here. I have been misled. Is Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds really Honey Bunches of Oats? Well, let’s try we got to shake it sounds like Honey Bunches of Oats definitely smells like Honey Bunches of Oats. Last thing for sure to know. And yes it is Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds. Well, kind of a roller coaster morning and so far.
You know kids? Sometimes not everything we see or hear is really what we’re seeing or hearing or is necessarily true. That’s why sometimes we have to be mindful we have to sometimes we have to have faith. And you know the one thing that I do know is that Jesus loves you. God loves you. And God’s love is as sure as a box of cereal that has cereal in it. You got his faith,
Hebrews 1:1 talks about the fact of having faith and not necessarily seeing. But being able to believe and know that God is real. God loves you. God wants to be with you and help you through your day. and everything that goes on wants to be a part of it. So share your life with God. And know that God loves you and will never leave you nor abandon you.
All right, boys and girls. So let’s pray. Father in heaven, thank you for your great love. Help us Lord, to be able to see what is real, to hear what is real. And also to believe in you leading guidance and everything that we do. Be with our families, our mom and dads and especially if we have any siblings, but also be with us when we go to school and when we play in all aspects of our lives. In Jesus name. Amen.
