Happy Sabbath, boys and girls, it’s my opportunity once again to bring you the story. I hope you had a great Fourth of July. Hope you enjoyed all the fireworks, and most importantly, that you were safe.

Now, you might be wondering, why do I have all these boxes around me? Well, I’m actually moving. I’m moving to a new place, and I wanted to talk to you about change. You know, we always have a lot of change. We change grades every year. We get older every year.

There’s always change in our life, but I do want to talk about Jesus. He’s always in our life. He will never change. He will always be with us. Doesn’t matter where we live in the United States or anywhere else in the world. He will always be with us, which made me think. When Israel was taken captive as slaves to Egypt, they had whole new things to learn. It was a new place. They had different food. They didn’t have all the things they had from home, but God always took care of them. No matter what happened to them, they were always successful because God was always by their side. It is important to always keep that in mind.

Change will happen in our lives. It always does. But our families and most importantly, Jesus will always be with us regardless of what happens to us. So sometimes we’ll move places, we’ll change grades. We have a new family member in our family. Or sometimes they move far away from us, too, which is always. sad, but always remember boys and girls, when there is change Jesus is always by our side. I could imagine the young children when Israel was taken captive, they didn’t have a chance to pack up all their things like I’m doing. They just had to leave with none of their things. And I know some of us like to keep our favorite teddy bear, our favorite blanket, our favorite picture with her grandmas or grandpas that we treasure. And even though we might not be able to take all our stuff with us, God is always with us. Most important things are things we have in here. And in here are memories and people that we love, even though we might not have all our favorite stuff, all our toys.

I know a lot of you like to play with video games, right? But guess what? it’s okay if we don’t have any of that because the most important thing that we do have is Jesus in our life. And we all know that our goal is to share who He is with others because when we do get to go home, our real home, we won’t need any of this stuff that we’re so worried about here on this earth. So boys and girls, let’s try to make a priority. Most important things in our lives are things that truly matter is who we are and how we treat others. Are we showing them that we love Jesus in our lives by the way we behave? Are we encouraging them to come to meet Jesus so that they too can live with us in heaven and not have to worry about all our stuff with us? I bet you they will like that.

Okay boys and girls, I would ask you to bow our heads and let’s pray. Dear heavenly father, we thank you dear lord that you are always with us no matter what happens in our lives because we know change will always happen. Please help us to be grateful, help us dear lord to know who you are and most importantly know that you are always by our side. Thank you dear lord for being our constant. Protect all the children, those around the world and help us to enjoy the rest of our summer. For we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Bye boys and girls.
