Hi boys and girls, I got a big question for you all. Have you ever accidentally left your lunch at home or even the lunch money that maybe your mom and dad gave you to get a hot lunch at the cafeteria? When I was about eight or nine years old, I forgot my lunch money. And I was very, very sad. Fortunately enough, my mom saw that the envelope with my money in it was in the backseat, and she came back and she was able to give me my lunch money so I could get a nice hot meal. And my day would not be ruined, because without lunch, I would be kind of cranky.

Well, there’s another boy, his name is Andy. And one day, he forgot his lunch. And so he didn’t want to say anything, didn’t want to make a big deal. But all of a sudden, one of his friends says, Hey, and he doesn’t have his lunch. And their substitute teacher that day. She was horrified. She thought, why is this kid being so mean don’t pick on him. But instead of people picking on him and making fun of them, they all banded together and gave part of their lunch to Andy. Pretty soon, and he had an extra Apple, there was an extra cup of ramen noodles. Somebody brought a bag of bagels. And then there is even a little Reese’s cup. And also, Hershey Kisses bar, complete with the almonds. And all of a sudden, Andy went from having no lunch, to eating like a king at lunch. And so and he was very thankful and grateful that his friends, his classmates, were looking out for him.

So, you know, in the book of Hebrews, there’s a verse that says, Hebrews 13:16 says, And do not forget to do good and to share with others. for with such sacrifices, God is pleased. You know, there’s going to be times in your life where you’re going to meet people, and maybe they’re going to be in need. And so if you can maybe help them in some way, just like Andy, you know, maybe one of your classmates, it’s going to happen at some point. If they maybe forgot their lunch money, or even their own hot lunch. Maybe if you have an extra sandwich or even part of a sandwich or an extra Apple or whatever, be willing to go the extra mile and help them out. And it just doesn’t have to be feeding somebody. There’s plenty of opportunities to help your fellow classmate, your neighbor, your brother or sister. Or even just Yeah, anybody who you come across. Don’t be afraid to help out and you do good.

So with that, have a great week kids and let’s go ahead and pray. Father in Heaven Thank You, Lord for all that you’re doing in our lives. I pray that you will be with our children here. May you bless leading guide them and especially as well be with their families, their siblings, their brothers and sisters, grandmas and grandpas, and especially their mom and dad who are helping to raise them lead and guide them in Jesus name. Amen.

Take care kids. Have a great week.
