Good morning boys and girls, happy Sabbath. Hope you guys are having a fantastic start to your weekend. Good Sabbath so far.

So let’s just jump straight into our Bible verse for today. Today, we’re gonna be taking a look at John chapter eight, verse 12, where it says, again Jesus spoke to them saying, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

So for this, boys and girls, we’re gonna get started. Let me put this here. Gonna get this started with our candle, all right? So we’re gonna light it, very basic. There we go. Alright, so in the Bible it says that Jesus is our light. Now as you can see, the light’s providing a good amount of light.

However, to illustrate what the Bible is trying to teach us, let’s go ahead and turn off the light, shall we? So let’s go ahead and go dark. And as we can see, even though I hope you guys can still see me, even though it’s gone completely dark, since we have this light in front of us, we’re still able to illuminate the area around us. And that’s just how it is in the Bible, boys and girls. God gave us His word and the ability to have a relationship with Him so that we do not fall to darkness, so that we have a guide to not fall into temptation to sin and continue to foster our relationship with Him. So boys and girls, when life gets scary, when life gets dark, always turn to Christ. He will be able to sustain you and he will be able to guide you along your way.

Let’s turn on the lights for closing prayer. All right, let’s pray to close this out.

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, thank you God so much for providing us the light that we need to navigate through this life, Lord. Thank you for always being there for us, for being our sustainer, our protector, and our light. We ask right now a special blessing for these children. May you always continue to guide and protect them and protect and guide their families as well, Lord. We thank you, we ask for the forgiveness of our sins, and we thank you all in the name of your precious son, Jesus Christ, amen.

All right, boys and girls, happy Sabbath, and we’ll see you next time.
