Good morning, boys and girls. Happy Sabbath. I hope you guys are having a fantastic beginning to your weekend. Let’s jump into our children’s story.

Today, we’re going to be opening our Bible to Ephesians chapter 6, verse 13, where it says, “Therefore, put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground.” Once again, that is Ephesians 6, verse 13.

Now, to illustrate that today, boys and girls, I have two tangerines right here. One—this guy right here—doesn’t have his, I’m forgetting the word, the peel. So he’s naked, essentially. This is going to represent us without the armor of God. Okay? And now we have another tangerine that does have its peel, and this is going to represent us with the armor of God. So this cup here will represent the struggles of life, you know, paying bills, going to school, getting good grades, all that fun stuff.

When we don’t have the armor of God and we succumb to that, we’ll see that we sink right to the bottom. Hopefully, you guys can see that. Yeah. Now, this other tangerine that does have the armor of God, we’ll see what happens.

We can see that it floats, and it’s able to stand its ground. So, boys and girls, always remember, maintain your relationship with God, pray to Him, read your Bible, talk to Him, and just like that, you will be able to put on the full armor of God and withstand anything that comes your way.

Let us pray. Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, thank you, God, so much for another day of life, Lord. Thank you for bringing us here to another Sabbath day, Lord, where we can come and worship you, Lord. Right now, I ask for the forgiveness of all our sins, Lord. May you please forgive any iniquities that we’ve committed against you, Lord. May you please also help us to exemplify your character, Lord, in everything we do. I ask that you be with these children, with their parents and guardians and loved ones, Lord. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Alright, boys and girls, Happy Sabbath, and we’ll see you next time.
