Perfect Love
by Ethan Morales

Good morning, boys and girls. Happy Sabbath. Hope you guys had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend in this upcoming week. So let’s start today’s children’s story by looking at the Bible. Today we’re going to be taking a look at first John 4:17 and 18. And in here it says, God’s love has reached its goal in us. No fear exists where his love is rather perfect love gets rid of fear.

Now, let’s let’s go ahead and illustrate that a little bit. It says that wherever God’s love is, there is no fear. However, sometimes we struggle with finding God, and because of that, we let fear, find its way into our life, we’re going to go ahead and say, This is our life. And this right here is fear. So when we don’t have God in our life, we just let fear consume us.

It smells really good.

Right, and it gets to the point where it’s so much that starts to consume our life. And what do we start to do we try to, we try to get rid of it, you see, but the more we try to get rid of it, the more it builds, and builds and builds until it becomes to the point that it just consumes our entire life. However, when we allow God’s love to come into us, what it does is it draws out fear, as we’ll see here, we’re going to go ahead and say, This is God’s love, perfect, clean and crisp. When that comes into our life, we’re going to see that the fear we had accumulated in us is going to start to come out.

As you see boys and girls, once God’s love has come into our life, there is no more fear to be had in us. So whenever you’re scared boys and girls, don’t be afraid. God is with you. Just a quick word of prayer, he will send His Holy Spirit he will comfort you.

Alright, let’s go ahead and pray. Dear Heavenly Father, thank you God for another day of life. I ask that you please be with these boys and girls, may you guide them and protect them. Give them a double dose of your Holy Spirit. I also ask that you please be with their parents, their teachers, any mentors they may have in their life. I asked all these things name of your precious son, Jesus Christ, amen. All right, boys and girls, happy Sabbath. Hope you have a good rest of the week.
